The car company whose logo adorned the cover of The American Conservatives magazine in the 1970s is still making cars today, even though its founder was a Nazi.
But the company is now part of an umbrella group, the Ford Foundation, which has been rebranding itself as the “Ford Foundation for Human Rights.”
The group announced Wednesday it will launch a new “Ford Vision 2020” platform, a platform that focuses on issues that impact the world’s poorest people, such as health and safety, climate change, women’s rights and human rights.
“We are proud to announce that we have been chosen to be a part of Ford Vision 2020,” said Peter Coughlin, CEO of Ford Foundation for Humanity, at the news conference announcing the new platform.
“It will support Ford’s commitment to the advancement of human rights in the world and will work to build a world where all people are treated with dignity, respect and dignity.
Ford Vision 2030 is the future of Ford and its mission is to change the world.”
The Ford Foundation announced its intent to rebrand in 2019.
Its board is made up of former CEOs of the car companies, as well as top executives at companies like General Motors, which is part of the Ford Family of Companies.
“This is a great opportunity to be part of a global movement that is dedicated to ending human rights abuses, improving health and social conditions around the world, and creating a world that is safe, sustainable and prosperous,” Coughline said.
Ford is the largest private employer in the United States, with more than 100,000 employees.
The group said it was committed to making the foundation’s work about human rights issues, not just economic ones.
The foundation’s goal is to support Ford employees, students and their families who are struggling to get by.
Ford has also partnered with organizations like Oxfam, Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International to make the platform more visible.
“Our work is focused on making a difference, not making a buck,” Croughlin said.
“The foundation will work with all the partners to build out the Ford Vision for Human Freedom, and then to make sure that our vision is a part and parcel of that.”
The foundation will have its first meeting in the fall to discuss the new vision, and its board will meet regularly to discuss new ideas and work on ways to make Ford’s work more effective.
Ford declined to provide details on how the platform will work, but the Ford executive who chairs the board said it will be similar to the foundation, including an “endorsed, nonpartisan, non-partisan, independent, nonprofit organization,” which the foundation will maintain.
Coughlins new initiative will be a new initiative that will not only support the Ford foundation, but also the Ford Global Foundation, the foundation said in a statement.
The Ford Global Fund will be funded through the Ford Group, and it will help Ford expand its operations in Africa, the Middle East and South America.
