Arias Pescarolo is set to return to action in the Juventus colours for the first time since November as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.
The left-back, who missed the entire 2016/17 campaign with an ankle injury, will take on Udinese in a friendly on Saturday.
“I’ve been working on my knee with the physio and it’s going well.
The recovery is coming along,” he said.”
We have to wait until Monday, but it’s good to be back and ready to go.”
It’s been a long season and we need to have some rest and we are ready to play.
“Pescara, who is recovering from a broken left ankle, has been training with his new teammates at the San Siro since his return from the Italian capital’s World Cup rehabilitation programme.”
He trained with us for a while before I arrived,” said Pescaro.”
His ankle is OK and he will be fit to play on Saturday.
“It has been a tough season for Pescarelli, who was sent to Turin by Juventus president Andrea Agnelli after his side’s 3-0 defeat to Roma in Serie A in May.”
They did not want to give me a chance and they were right,” said the 23-year-old.”
But I’ve always been a Juventus fan and I am really happy.
I hope they keep me here.
“Pochettino’s men are yet to lose at home this season and are yet for any defeat away from Turin.
