It’s been a while since we’ve featured a fitness tracker watch, but 4chanfit is finally getting a watch in the hands of millions of users.
4chanFit is the brainchild of the infamous 4chan user who has become known for his online harassment of women, and the company is hoping it will bring the same attention to the fitness tracker market.
In a new video, 4chan founder Alexis Ohanian talks about how the wearable will be designed with “flexible” hardware, which means that it can be worn as a regular watch or as a wristwatch.
Ohanian explained that 4chan fit is meant to help people who don’t want to wear a wrist or a regular fitness tracker for the time being.
“If you want to try this out, you can use a smartphone or any other kind of watch,” Ohanian said.
“The battery life is going to be good.
It can work in the gym or you can just use it for fitness and that’s the best thing.
That’s a good thing.
It’s not going to get you out of the gym, but it’s going to give you a workout.”
Ohanian has been working on 4chan fitness tracker since 2014, and it has since been featured on a variety of websites including Business Insider, Business Insider Live, and TechCrunch.
However, 4ChanFit is different than other fitness trackers that we’ve covered.
The company has decided to focus on wearable technology instead of wristwear because of the company’s own “flexibility” philosophy.
“Flexibility means that if we need to do a lot of work, we can do it in a way that makes sense for you and for us, not because it’s a thing we’ve done for the last 30 years,” Ohansaid in the video.
“There’s no reason that a watch with the same functionality as a fitness watch can’t be used in your life.”
The wearable will also have a battery life of at least six months, and will be able to track a variety different metrics.
While this may sound like a lot for a wearable, Ohanian told Business Insider that 4Chanfit wants to offer users a “truly customizable” experience.
“I’m very proud of the fact that we’re not just going to make something that works for everyone, but that we make something really unique that works with every individual,” he said.
