But if you’re going to run marathons, it would be a good idea to get your feet covered with shoes that have a lot of cushioning.
That’s because shoes with high-heel-toe cushioning help prevent your feet from sliding off the floor.
Here are a few tips on how to do that.

Get a pair with a cushioning system that’s a little higher than the heel.
Choose shoes with an open toe and a narrow toe.
Buy shoes with cushioned soles.
Wear shoes that offer a lot (or as much) of cushion.

The more cushioning you have, the more you can control the angle of the shoe you’re running in. 6.
If you can’t find shoes with a high heel-toe combination, try getting a pair that has a slightly raised heel that allows you to keep your feet off the ground.
You should also keep your heels close together, to prevent sliding.
Buy high-top shoes that allow you to control the way your feet move.
Find shoes that give you more traction on a hard surface, such as a treadmill.
Get comfortable running with your feet together.
